As a carded athlete, you can buy discounted nutrition supplements from Integria and compression apparel from 2XU. Both companies are official suppliers to High Performance Sport NZ.

Compression apparel 

Carded athletes with High Performance Sport NZ are eligible for heavily discounted 2XU compression apparel.  Products available include compression tights, compression calves, shorts, short sleeve and long sleeve tops. Please note, you can purchase product only for yourself, not for family and friends.

Orders are processed monthly which means you won't have to wait long to get your garments.

Benefits of compression garments

Possible benefits of high quality compression garments may include:

  • improved recovery after exercise due to reduced localised swelling
  • improved performance through reduced muscle oscillation
  • enhanced agility through better proprioception
  • reduced injury risk through muscle containment and wrapping
  • improved circulation leading to faster muscle warm-up and improved oxygen circulation.

A quality compression garment may also assist during travel to lower the risk of blood clots, and to reduce the stiffness associated with long haul flights.

Nutritional supplements

Integria Healthcare (New Zealand) Ltd (formerly known as Thompson Nutrition Limited) is our Official Supplier – Nutritional Supplements. This agreement gives New Zealand’s elite athletes access to certain nutrition supplements in the Integria group of brands including Thompsons and Red 8.

Entitlements for carded athletes are as follows:

  • Level 1 – up to $400.00 Recommended Retail Price (RRP) of free product per month. Additional product may be purchased at the wholesale price less 25%
  • Level 2 – up to $250.00 RRP of free product per month. Additional product may be purchased at the wholesale price less 25%
  • Level 3 and 4 – Products can be purchased at the wholesale price less 25% with no limits.
